From The Director's Desk

Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ,

It’s a joy and honor to be able to share with you again of what God is doing at Home With A Heart. We are already half-way through the year and God has truly blessed us again this year. Home With Heart’s success depends upon what we are able to do with the hearts of men. We are not heart surgeons but Jesus Christ is. In trying to bring freedom to men who are caught up in the bondage of Alcohol and Drug addiction, we believe at Home With A Heart that first must be changed is the heart.

We could make over our many outward improvements, changes and accomplishments, but we must never forget that the real lasting victories come through a real “Heart” change. Jesus Christ is the greatest cardiologist known to man. He is where we will find a long lasting victory. 1 Samuel 16:7– For the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the “Heart”.

God’s love is boundless. It can bring light to an addicts darkness, hope when all hope is gone, and life where there was only death and destruction. God’s love can return a son back to his parents, a father back to his children, a husband back to his wife, but most of all God’s love can raise up a true solider in his army. This Is our mission here at the Home With A heart. I personally am blessed to be able to see the miracles happen with my own eyes .

I am just so thrilled to be a small part of God’s army and a part of this ministry. It is an honor and a privilege to be the Director here and continue the vision that was started by John Brock and many others. I want to thank the many churches that have put us in their budgets and also the businesses and individuals that give monthly to this Home. It is good people like yourselves that make this ministry possible. You help make it possible to minister to the men in our communities to help men overcome their drug and alcohol addiction One day At A Time and to show them the love of Jesus Christ.

We have already this year have had many salvations and rededications. It is truly a blessing to see God at work here in the Home. I have also have baptized 46 this year so far in the mountains. Be much in prayer for the home as my family, I staff, and board of directors continue to do God’s will for this ministry God has so truly blessed our communities with. Also we would like to thank all the churches & preachers that come & give of their time & money to help the ministry continue to reach those bound up with drugs and alcohol. We also want to thank all those individuals who give so faithfully to support the Home. May God bless you and yours for your faithfulness.

Matthew 17:20 Faith the size of a mustard seed can move a mountain

Yours truly in God’s Love,

ALEX RICHEY
