From The Director's Desk

Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ,

It’s that time of the year again for the best holiday of the year– the birthday of Jesus Christ. I hope all is well with you and that God has richly blessed your lives this year. It’s been a truly blessed year gain for us-all of us at the home have loved watching God work in this ministry. We have had over one hundred men come through the Home this year to find that life-changing experience. Eighty-three of them gave their life to Christ while in the program. This Is truly a blessing. Also Baptized 62 this year what a blessing. My family and I are honored and privileged to be a part of this ministry.
I want to thank all of you who support this ministry financially, prayerfully, with your gifts of time and teaching, with your gifts of food, and with your gifts of clothing, furniture and household items for sale in the Thrift Store. It is good folks like you and your churches that make the Home With A Heart such a big success. We really appreciate you for your support
Come and see what God is doing here anytime. We have lots of activities that the community can attend to be involved in our ministry. Our thrift stores are open Monday-Saturday, 9a.m. to 5 p.m. with thousands of items. If you wish to donate items for the Thrift Stores, we will be glad to come and pick up your donation at your convenience. .
God continues to bless our ministry with growth. We have completed our expansion of the Veldee Cooper Worship center. We have more than doubled the space available for teaching and worship. This project has helped us to educate the men better and create more room for families on the nights we have services to come and experience the love that Christ has showed all of us. We continue to seek to reach those men who are bound up by drugs and alcohol and lead them to the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The work of the Home With A Heart involves many people including AA members friends, pastors, churches, Sunday school classes, men’s and women’s missionary groups, as well as many others. You to can be a part by volunteering your skills, or through financial support, prayer, or by donating items that can be used in our work; food, paper products, hygiene items, etc…
Be in prayer for us here at the Home, that God will continue to use my family to do his will at the Home. We thank each and every one of you for your support and backing us in this ministry where God has place us. I would also like to thank my Board of Directors for all of their support and work that they do here each month. Thank you all and may God bless you all!
One of the lessons that Moses learned from his father in law, Jethro, was that he must have others join him in sharing the tasks involved in leading the Israelites to the promised land. There is new life waiting for many through the Home With A Heart. Wont you please join me in helping men from sin and addiction to sobriety and salvation? LUKE 4:18,19

THANKS AND GOD BLESS
